Morning Sun
The morning of the sun
You call but it never comes
And you pray that it stays when it does
You’re hoping that your time
And worth on the planet earth
Is enough but I fear that it’s never enough
When you’re standing at the mirror
Trying to see your future clearer
But you only see the things you left behind
One day you will find that everything turns out fine
You can’t define the rest of your life as over over nothing
You’ve got to wait on the corner for something new
Days they’ve gone away
It feels like a holiday
With no one else around
When you’re standing at the mirror
Trying to see the future clearer
But you only see the things you left behind
One day you will find that everything turns out fine
You can’t define the rest of your life as over over nothing
You’ve got to wait on the corner for something new
We can not ignore the sound
Where it’s coming from
Has been within you for so long
You call but it never comes
And you pray that it stays when it does
You’re hoping that your time
And worth on the planet earth
Is enough but I fear that it’s never enough
When you’re standing at the mirror
Trying to see your future clearer
But you only see the things you left behind
One day you will find that everything turns out fine
You can’t define the rest of your life as over over nothing
You’ve got to wait on the corner for something new
Days they’ve gone away
It feels like a holiday
With no one else around
When you’re standing at the mirror
Trying to see the future clearer
But you only see the things you left behind
One day you will find that everything turns out fine
You can’t define the rest of your life as over over nothing
You’ve got to wait on the corner for something new
We can not ignore the sound
Where it’s coming from
Has been within you for so long
